GREETING CARDS

Life & Career Choices
greeting cards provide "tried and true" coaching concepts and can be used as tools for self-coaching in everyday life. They help people to align choices with needs at any given time. They also bring out the lighter side of serious professional and personal pursuits through universal, playful images. Give the gift of voice by writing notes to yourself and to others. If you are a manager, present the cards to your team to encourage self-awareness, motivation, and development. Be informed and guided by your wisdom, and support others in their well-being.

Printed in the USA using soy-based inks and recycled paper. Please contact us for direct purchases, and to share inquiries.

Suggested Exercise

  1. Select a priority issue that you are facing in your career and/or life at large. Be sure to identify an issue that you are ready to change now, and/or for which you have already taken steps to initiate a change.
  2. Choose one of the concepts presented in Life and Carer Choices Greeting Cards that might best address this area (for example, "Exercise Your Capability").
  3. Write a message to yourself related to this concept to better understand how it applies to your current circumstance (i.e., what would it mean for you to "Exercise Your Capability" with regard to the issue that you are facing?).
  4. Identify two or three SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time bound) goals that you can commit to implementing within the next week to address this issue based on the insights revealed in the messages that you have written to yourself.
  5. Describe any obstacles that you might face in executing on these goals.
  6. Define strategies to overcome your obstacles.
  7. On a scale of 1 to 10, rate your confidence in being able to achieve the goals that you have documented. If your confidence level is less than a 7, how can you increase your confidence?
  8. Review your goal achievement results the following week, and rate your percentage of success (from 0 to 100%).
  9. Establish goals for the upcoming week based on your achievement results from the previous week.
  10. Continue with this process to affect and sustain lasting, positive change.
  11. Apply other concepts presented in the greeting cards to identify additional steps that would be valuable in addressing the issue, and/or to manage other priority issues that you are facing.
